ZPEC Invites Middle East Talent to Build the “ZPEC Dream” Together — ZPEC Technical Services Holds Campus Recruitment Information Session in Basra, Iraq

2026-10-24

In the golden autumn season, ZPEC Group's 2027 campus recruitment has kicked off with great enthusiasm. To implement ZPEC Group's localized talent strategy and accelerate the localization of Iraqi employees, ZPEC Technical Services Iraq Branch visited Basra University for Oil and Gas on September 20th to hold a dedicated recruitment event.

On the morning of that day, the auditorium of Basra University for Oil and Gas was packed. Ammar Maki Baaji, Vice President the University, first delivered a speech at the information session. He highly affirmed ZPEC Group's long-term strong support and effective empowerment of the university and expressed his expectation for both sides to further expand space for two-way collaboration and consolidate the talent foundation for long-term university-enterprise cooperation.

Fu Jiancheng, General Manager of the Iraq Branch, introduced ZPEC Group's core businesses and its remarkable achievements from 15 years of deep cultivation in the Iraqi market. He briefly elaborated on the company's philosophy of talent localization and internationalization, as well as its standardized training system for new employees and career development pathways, and encouraged outstanding students to join the ZPEC family.

The ZPEC recruitment team provided detailed explanations of the campus recruitment policies, job requirements, and employee growth and training system. They answered questions of common concern to the students one by one. After the Q&A session, the event moved on to group interviews.

After the information session, the recruitment team was invited to hold a discussion with Mohamed Khalil Kaabi, President Basra University for Oil and Gas. He expressed the hope that both sides would, on the basis of talent recruitment, further expand diverse cooperation areas such as scientific research tackling, technical exchange, and joint practical training. They would continuously promote university-enterprise collaborative development and jointly contribute to the development of Iraq's oil and gas industry.

Last year, the Iraq Branch cooperated with Basra University for Oil and Gas for campus recruitment for the first time and recruited 15 outstanding graduates. After a year of theoretical study, skills training, and on-site experience, these young professionals are now able to perform their duties independently and have become a new force on the front line of production for Iraqi projects.
