Zhongman Petroleum Equipment Group Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhongman Group, located in the Lingang New Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. It is a comprehensive high-end petroleum equipment group integrating R&D and design, intelligent manufacturing, global sales, equipment leasing and technical services.

The company has two major manufacturing bases in Lingang, Shanghai and Chengdu, Sichuan. It also owns more than ten subsidiaries, branches and business divisions, including Shanghai Zhongman Equipment Branch, Sichuan Zhongman Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Sichuan Zhongman Electric Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Kunlun Zhiyuan Equipment Leasing Co., Ltd., Sichuan ZPEC Kaseum Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd., Babylon Petroleum Equipment (Iraq) Co., Ltd., the Pump Business Division, the Oilfield Special Vehicle Business Division, and the Electric Submersible Pump Business Division, as well as three professional research institutes: the Equipment Research Institute, the Intelligent Research Institute and the Software Development Institute.

The company has obtained certifications for the three management systems of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018, and holds the API Q1 system certificate as well as a series of product certifications including API 4F (PSL1 & PSL2), API 8C (PSL1 & PSL2), API 7K, API 7-1, API 7-2 and API 16C. Covering a full range of products from high-end land drilling rig and offshore drilling module, supporting equipment such as top drive, Danker quintuple mud ump pump, serialized electric control system and drawworks, to automated and intelligent products including six-axis drill floor robot, Goldroc intelligent drilling robot, automatic catwalk and automatic pipe handling system, Zhongman Equipment has won recognition from customers at home and abroad for its excellent quality, with many key technologies reaching the international advanced level.

Relying on the enterprise technology centers at both Shanghai and Sichuan provincial levels, and solidifying its foundation as a "High-Tech Enterprise of Shanghai" and a "Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique and New" enterprise, the company has been granted a total of 371 patents. In November 2024, two scientific and technological achievements, namely "Key Technology Research of Intelligent Drill String Handling System Robot" and "Off-Line Drilling Rig Pipe String Handling System", passed the authoritative appraisal by the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association, and were recognized as having "overall technologies reaching the international advanced level and some technologies leading the world", marking a historic breakthrough for the company in key intelligent product technologies. These two achievements further won the second prize and third prize respectively for Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievements in Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment in 2025, demonstrating the robust strength of ZPEC Intelligent Manufacturing with tangible results.

Centered on creating value for customers, Zhongman Equipment's business has spread to more than 30 countries and regions around the world, and it has become a qualified supplier to international giants such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Pemex. Up to now, more than 260 sets of various drilling and workover rigs and intelligent products of the company have been operating stably in oilfields worldwide.
