On June 15th, the People's Procuratorate of Wensu County, Xinjiang, was invited to ZPEC Oil & Gas to deliver a special legal education lecture under the theme "Always Ring the Alarm Bell – Building a Strong Integrity Defense Line," providing employees a targeted, practical, and profound education on the rule of law and integrity.

At the lecture, Deng Xiaohua, a full-time member of the Procuratorial Committee and a level four senior prosecutor at the Wensu County Procuratorate, addressed high-frequency, legal pain points in corporate operations, as precisely aligned with the company's legal needs. Combining real and typical cases, he deeply integrated popularization of criminal law with corporate criminal risk prevention, and focused on illegal and disciplinary situations, such as duty embezzlement and bribery and accepting bribes by non-state functionaries. He explained legal provisions in an accessible manner, analyzed the causes of cases, and clarified the red lines of duty performance. Meanwhile, in light of the latest judicial interpretations, he translated legal provisions into actionable compliance guidelines for day-to-day work and business operations, making legal knowledge accessible and easy to understand, while sending a strong and timely warning to all employees to remain compliant and act with integrity.

Based on the lecture content, Li Xuesong, Senior Vice President of ZPEC Group and General Manager of ZPEC Oil & Gas, made specific requirements for the company's integrity and legal compliance efforts. He emphasized that all attendees should take this lecture as an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in studying, understanding, and complying with the law, and proactively share legal knowledge with their colleagues to foster a company-wide atmosphere of respecting, learning, abiding by, and using the law. He further noted that every employee's growth, professional development, and value are supported by the platform the company has built, and that all staff should value their current roles, align their personal growth with the broader corporate development, strictly observe codes of conduct, and perform their duties in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, so as to safeguard the company's high-quality development through disciplined and compliant actions.

This collaborative procuratorate-enterprise targeted legal education effectively enhanced employees' legal literacy and integrity awareness, further strengthening the company's integrity risk prevention barriers.
