On March 25th, a delegation, led by Zhou Kezhen, General Manager of ZPEC Equipment Group, visited the Beijing-based International Engineering Branch of Greatwall Drilling Company (GWDC). The two parties held in-depth discussions on oil equipment manufacturing, repair and leasing, as well as intelligent drilling solutions. A consensus was reached on deepening industrial chain collaboration, sharing resources, and leveraging complementary strengths for mutual benefit.

The meeting was attended by Shen Chaoting, Executive Director and Party Secretary of the GWDC International Engineering Branch, Liu Qing, General Manager of the Branch, and Ma Xiaoquan, Marketing Center Manager of ZPEC Equipment Group.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on potential cooperation in the procurement, leasing, repair, and maintenance of drilling rigs, as well as overseas engineering services. They agreed that there were strong opportunities throughout the industrial chain, and that under the current international market environment, they could explore broader market space through flexible and diverse ways of cooperation.

Liu Qing emphasized that GWDC had a well-established overseas presence, with overseas bases equipped with large-scale workshops and maintenance resources. He welcomed ZPEC to utilize the existing facilities for localized production and repair, and to jointly develop third-party markets.

Zhou Kezhen noted that ZPEC had unique advantages in equipment manufacturing. The two companies could leverage each other’s overseas channels and access to large-scale projects in order to introduce ZPEC’s self-developed geological engineering integrated software, intelligent drilling rig control system, and downhole tools to a broader international market.

The discussions laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two parties. They agreed to take this opportunity to establish a regular communication mechanism, further explore potential cooperation, jointly act on the understandings reached, and contribute to international oil and gas exploration and development.
