ZPEC Kaisa Completes Tubing Perforation Gas Lift Operation in South China Sea's Panyu Block, Setting a New Domestic Record

Recently, ZPEC Kaisa successfully completed a tubing perforation gas lift operation in Well PY30-1-A1H located in South China Sea Panyu Block. The operation successfully restored stable production of the gas well and set a new domestic record for intelligent cutting operations in high-temperature, highly deviated wells. The client, Chengdu Asberry Technology Co., Ltd., spoke highly of the operation, fully recognizing ZPEC Kaisa's professional expertise and efficient operational performance throughout the entire project cycle.

This was ZPEC Kaisa's first operation in the South China Sea block. Facing multiple technical challenges, the technical team conducted thorough pre-assessment of operating difficulties, held multiple rounds of technical exchanges with the client, comprehensively identified potential operational hazards, refined the construction plan, and optimized operational workflows. The team promptly deployed its self-developed intelligent electric cutting tool on site. On April 4, April 7, and April 10, the team efficiently completed three consecutive tubing perforation operations, achieving a 100% success rate with zero non-productive time. The precise cutting operation successfully opened the gas lift path and restored stable production of the mature well.

It is understood that Well PY30-1-A1H had been shut in for an extended period due to severe water invasion in the gas reservoir and insufficient wellbore liquid-carrying capacity. To restore production, a tubing perforation gas lift operation was required. The target perforation location had a deviation angle of 61.3° and downhole temperature exceeded 130°C, with an accuracy requirement controlled within 0.5 meters. Therefore, conventional tools could not meet such demanding operating conditions, creating a technical bottleneck for the project. ZPEC Kaisa's successful breakthrough in this block fully demonstrates the reliability and advancement of domestically produced high-end intelligent tools in complex oil and gas field development, providing a replicable and transferable technical model for reviving similar idle wells.

ZPEC Kaisa had previously won high recognition from clients in the Bohai Sea Offshore area through its efficient and reliable operational performance. The first success in South China Sea further demonstrates the company's comprehensive strength and industry competitiveness in the field of high-end intelligent oil and gas engineering technology services.
