Recently, following the directives of the Group leadership, a team from the Group's trade union made a special trip from Shanghai to Puyang, Henan Province, to visit the home of Wang Song, Platform Manager of the ZPEC Iraq Branch. Through financial assistance and emotional support, the visit conveyed the heartfelt warmth of the Company's extended family, offering great comfort to his family during a difficult time.

Having joined ZPEC 14 years ago, Wang Song has successively participated in major projects including the West Qurna Baker Hughes Project, the Petronas Garraf Project, the Gazprom Badra Project, and the BP Rumaila Project, making significant contributions to the Company's stable and successful presence in Iraq's Olympic oil and gas market. Since April of this year, both of his parents have fallen seriously ill and are unable to care for themselves, forcing him to take leave from his overseas post and return home to look after them. The substantial medical expenses for his parents' treatment, combined with reduced income due to his extended leave, have placed an immense burden on this ordinary family. Upon arrival, the team carefully inquired about the health conditions of his ailing parents and the details of their daily care, patiently listened to the family's practical difficulties, presented them with financial assistance and gifts on behalf of the Company, and conveyed care and concern from the Chairman, President, and other Group leaders, bringing the warmth of ZPEC's family culture directly to the employee's heart.

"The President and the Drilling Company leaders came to my home not long ago, and now you have traveled all this way to visit us again. I am truly moved. The Company's 'family culture' brings peace of mind and makes me feel deeply cared for. Once I have sorted out matters at home, I will certainly get myself back on track and devote myself wholeheartedly to my work," Wang Song said during the conversation, his words filled with sincere gratitude.

This home visit was not an isolated act of kindness, but rather a concrete practice of the Company's family culture. Since the beginning of 2025, under the overall coordination of the Group leadership, the Company has issued documents to further strengthen the functions of the trade union, expanding welfare benefits to employees and their families through both institutional mechanisms and practical measures. With the regular implementation of initiatives, such as childcare programs for school-age children during winter and summer vacations, assistance for employees in difficulty, birthday greetings, and recreational club activities, the Company has effectively addressed employees' concerns and translated corporate care into tangible support.

Small gestures of care gather into a warm current. Through storms and sunshine, true fellowship is revealed. Going forward, the Company's trade union will continue to uphold the philosophy of family culture, conduct regular visits to employees in difficulty, respond promptly to their pressing needs, and ensure that the ZPEC big family remains a steadfast support for every employee.
