On May 12th, Zhang Guocheng, General Manager of China Petroleum Technology Development Corporation (CPTDC), led a delegation to ZPEC Shanghai headquarters for discussions and exchanges. The two sides held in-depth conversations on topics including corporate development strategies, overseas project construction, equipment and material supply assurance, and technological collaborative innovation, ultimately reaching a consensus on cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Wang Nan,
General Manager of CPTDC Equipment Division, Bao Wentao, General Manager of CPTDC
Central Asia & Russia Branch, Li Hongfei, Chief Overseas Representative for
Central Asia Region, and Bo Qiliang, ZPEC Executive President, Li Xizeng, Vice
President, and Li Fangming, Deputy General Manager of the Oilfield Division.
During the meeting, Zhang Guocheng
introduced CPTDC’s recent developments. He stated that the company had
established three core business lines: equipment, petrochemicals, and
industrial civil products. With nearly 40 years of experience in ensuring
supply for overseas projects, CPTDC boasted outstanding strengths in logistics,
customs clearance, risk prevention, and commercial operations. The company owned
advanced technologies including multi-thermal fluid heavy oil recovery and
integration of new energy with conventional equipment. In addition, CPTDC had
set up a localized maintenance and repair plant in Kazakhstan to effectively
meet overseas project requirements for equipment manufacturing, repair and
maintenance, and local content policies. He also expressed his commitment to
provide full support for ZPEC’s overseas development strategy and would give
full play to its full-chain service capability to achieve resource complementary
and synergistic advantages.
Bo Qiliang also gave a detailed overview
of ZPEC’s four core business layouts including oil and gas exploration and
development, engineering technical services, equipment manufacturing, and oil
and gas trade. He highlighted progress in exploration, development, and
production capacity construction of key overseas oil and gas projects in
Kazakhstan, Iraq, and Algeria. He stated that ZPEC was currently at a critical
phase of transformation and high-quality development. Multiple overseas
projects advanced concurrently, which steadily drove the growing demand for
equipment, materials, and comprehensive services. He emphasized that the
company would fully leverage CPTDC’s overseas resources, professional
technologies, and mature supply chain strengths to accelerate the construction progress
of overseas projects and steadily improve development quality.
