From October 5^th to the 10^th, the Third Joint Management Committee (JMC) Meeting for ZPEC's Iraq Middle Furat Sacred Lake Oilfield (MF) Project and East Baghdad National Oilfield (EBN) Project was held in Istanbul, Turkey. The meeting formulated nine resolutions, laying a solid foundation for achieving the goal of early project commissioning with low investment and a short cycle.

Co-chaired by Sardar, Chairman of the MF Oilfield JMC, Amir, Chairman of the EBN Oilfield JMC, and Geng Xianliang, Senior Vice President of ZPEC, the meeting was attended by representatives from Iraq Middle Oil Company (MdOC), Iraq Ministry of Oil (MOC), and ZPEC Iraq Oilfield Project Company.

Zhongman Petroleum representatives delivered detailed reports on multiple topics including the 2026 work plans and budgets for the two oilfield projects to the Iraqi JMC members. Participants conducted in-depth discussions on various agenda items and comprehensively reviewed the report contents.

Ultimately, the MF Oilfield Project reached nine resolutions covering the initial development plan, global framework agreement for shareholder research projects, 2026 work plan and budget, human resources policy, 2025-2026 training plan, etc. The EBN Oilfield Project formulated four resolutions involving the initial development plan, revised 2025 work plan, 2026 work plan and budget, human resources policy, etc.

This JMC Meeting focused on promoting the physical workload implementation. According to the work plan, the MF Oilfield Project intends to mobilize workover rigs to the site by the end of 2025 to carry out workover operations on two old wells. The EBN Oilfield Project will also initiate workover operations on four old wells simultaneously. In addition, the drilling preparation for two appraisal wells in each project has entered the preparation stage. For key support projects, such as the procurement of long-lead time materials (including oil tubings, casings, wellheads, and Christmas trees) and the construction of surface supporting facilities (such as well sites and roads), the clear work guidelines defined at the meeting provide strong guarantee for the smooth implementation of the drilling and workover work plan.
