ZPEC and Iraq Drilling Company IDC Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

On December 5, 2021, ZPEC signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Iraq Drilling Company (IDC), a state-owned drilling company in Basra, Iraq. The two parties agreed to carry out multi-level and all-round cooperation in the fields of drilling, completion, workover, technical services, drilling and completion workover equipment procurement, leasing, etc.

At 9 o'clock in the morning of the same day, IDC General Manager Mr. Basim.AB.Nasser, IDC Deputy General Manager Mr. Ali Shalash, other leaders from IDC, ZPEC Marketing Director Mr. Lu Guozhu, and Deputy General Manager of ZPEC Iraq Company Mr. Zhang Chi attended the signing ceremony.

Mr. Lu Guozhu first introduced the business overview and development history of ZPEC, focusing on showing the company's engineering package integration service capabilities and unique advantages, so that IDC had an understanding of ZPEC’s technical service capabilities, equipment manufacturing level, and oilfield capacity construction. With this deeper understanding, Mr. Lu said that after the two parties have established a strategic cooperative relationship, they can better achieve complementary advantages in resources.

Basim.AB.Nasser fully affirmed the operation model, rapid development, and outstanding performance of ZPEC in the Iraqi market. He pointed out that ZPEC is an internationally renowned, turnkey drilling engineering leader and petroleum equipment manufacturer. The achievements in the field of Iraqi drilling turnkey projects are obvious to all, especially the performance and rigorous work style in the Gazprom Project, the Petronas Project, and the EBS Project have made Party A and its competitors give a thumbs up. At present, IDC has drilling rig requirements, engineering cooperation requirements, and integrated package management requirements, which coincide with the advantages of ZPEC. At the same time, he emphasized that ZPEC’s corporate mission of "Always standing on the customer's point of view and abiding by the customer first" communicated so thoroughly in Iraq and that he greatly admired it.

In the end, Mr. Lu Guozhu said that ZPEC is an ideal and energetic enterprise, especially since the average age of employees in the Iraq Company is over 30 years old. In the future cooperation, ZPEC people will surely call and come, come can fight, fight will win!
