ZPEC Rig 11 Once Again The First to Complete Drilling in Xinjiang Aihu Block 2

At 11:30pm on November 7, 2021, in the Aihu Oilfield drilling campaign, in which 17 drilling teams participate at the same time, the second well drilled by ZPEC Rig 11, AHHW2048, was the first to be completed. This is the second well drilled by ZPEC Rig 11 to be finished drilling first. ZPEC Rig 11 won the high praise of Party A with its strength and efficiency.

Well AHHW2048 started drilling at 9:00pm on October 15 and finished drilling at 11:30pm on November 7, 2021. The total drilling and completion depth was 5,158 meters with a 1,600 meter long horizontal section. During the drilling process, ZPEC Rig 11 worked steadily and completed the drilling successfully in 23.1 days, 4 days ahead of schedule. During the Aihu Oilfield drilling campaign, a series of challenges occurred, such as the complicated horizontal mudstone section, the lost circulation of the Badaowan Formation, the thin oil layer of the target layer, and the fracturing of adjacent wells. Overflow, sticking, and sidetracking of the well were very prone to occur. However, ZPEC Rig 11 once again led the Aihu Block 2 with zero accidents and zero complexities.
