2020-05-29

With the strong support of the company and leaders from all levels, Akzo Zhongman Oil & Gas Company has made positive progress in its archive management work. Since the beginning of the year, all production process data with preservation value since the establishment of the company has been completely and systematically collected and archived.

In accordance with the file management methods and project management methods issued by the company, ZPEC clarified the leadership in charge of the file work, equipped the file room with file cabinets, file boxes, etc., and established and improved the file management methods suitable for the company’s business. Under the guidance and organization of full-time archivists, each department has implemented part-time archivists to collect pertinent documents and materials to be filed in the archives on a real-time basis. Up to now, more than 1,731 documents of various categories from 2018 to 2020, 326 electronic files, and 2 physical files, involving land acquisition, safety and environmental assessment, geology, contracts, drilling engineering, etc. have been archived.

In order to strengthen the archiving awareness of part-time archivists, to improve their business skills, and to facilitate contact, the Archive Office has also established a special WeChat group, "ZPEC Part-time Archivists", using the company’s technical training opportunities to provide archive knowledge training to relevant personnel. This comprehensive approach helps everyone understand the requirements and procedures of archival work, collects the most primitive and valuable data generated in oil and gas exploration, and archives them in real-time.
