On March 9th at 7 :00pm Iraq local time, ZPEC’s Group Chairman Li Chundi and Deputy General Manager Chen Qingjun arrived at Salman–1 wellsite of BLOCK 12 Project to inspect the production situation and visit the workers.  They inspired everyone and admonished each to carry forward the  "ZPEC spirit" in difficult conditions and to overcome such difficulties in order to complete the first high level prospecting well.

On the morning of March 10th, Mr. Li arrived on the wellsite to inspect and guide the work.  He personally demonstrationed and commanded the complete drilling operation on the drill floor.  He pointed out existing problems and the insufficiencies and hoped that everyone would continue to work hard, improve their skills, and establish a high quality international team that is worthy of being called "ZPEC".  Mr. Li then went to the logging control room, the oil test room, the cementing lab, etc, in turn.  Each department head had a cordial visit to understand the information such as new equipment running situations and market prospects.  He encouraged everyone, saying, "Our equipment has reached world leading levels.  Everybody wants to work together to do a good job of testing and of drilling this prospecting well perfectly.  We have a high quality team and, at the same time we continue to strengthen staff training, training talents for the development of ZPEC.  For those who have done good work, good benefits are given.  The ZPEC Group will give priority to investments in the future for its further development."  Mr. Li encouraged everyone.  Each department director proclaimed strong support and pledged to work harder than ever to obtain more excellent grades.
