From 16:00 on April 2nd to 16:00 on April 3rd, Well YK29-20H5, drilled by ZPEC Rig 9 Team, once again refreshed the Schlumberger Yan’an Project record by drilling 167 meters/day in the horizontal section. The previous highest daily footage was 145 meters/day in the horizontal section of YB113-133 Area. The Project Department of Yanbei, Schlumberger Changhe Oilfield, sent a Congratulatory Letter to ZPEC Rig 9 Team with a reward of 50,000 yuan.

 Well YK29-20H5, located in Zichang City, Yan'an, is a three-dimensional long horizontal section well with a 4,832 meter design depth. Since spudded-in, ZPEC Rig 9 Team has carefully analyzed the possible risks and difficulties in the operation and made a scientific and detailed drilling plan due to the many difficulties, such as complex formation conditions, strong abrasiveness of the four section, high drilling rate of sandstone in the horizontal section, and poor drill ability. Strictly implementing various operating procedures, Party A and Party B worked together and cooperated closely, scientifically speeding up and improving efficiency during the drilling process. Many multiple measures were undertaken simultaneously, finally achieving another success.      

There are a total of 24 drilling teams in the Yan 113-133 Area. Since ZPEC Rig 9 entered the SCP Yanbei Project, it has been adhering to the ZPEC’s “Spirit of Iron and Blood Journey” and promoting the fine style of hard work in the old revolutionary base areas. The drilling performance has always been among the best, breaking the drilling records of the block, and being rewarded by Party A many times.
