ZPEC is the first private enterprise in China to be approved for conventional oil and natural gas reserves exploration. Mr. Ma Xingrui came to Well Wen 7 in ZPEC Wenbei Oilfield, Wensu County, to inspect the oil and gas recovery operations and learn about oil and gas exploration and production, drilling engineering, crude oil processing, etc. He emphasized that it was necessary to give full play to the advantages of the private economy, such as high flexibility and strong innovation, to promote the orderly participation of various market entities in Xinjiang oil and gas exploration and production, to increase investment and development efforts, to strengthen key core technology research, to promote stable growth of oil and gas production capacity, and to ensure national energy security. He said that it was necessary to vigorously promote "Xinjiang Oil and Xinjiang Refining", and to continue to extend the petrochemical industry chain, to expand the oil and gas production and processing industry cluster, and to promote the construction of Xinjiang's "Three Channels and One Base" high-quality economic development.
