Recently, the slow lifting of the K-125 Liner Hanging Tool out of wellhead at ZPEC’s Petronas Project marked the successful end of the extended reachable well liner hanging operation, which spanned three years from 2019 to 2022. 

Due to the large well inclination and short open-hole section, it was very difficult to judge whether the liner hanger and sending tools were disengaged or not, which greatly increased the difficulties of the liner hanging operation. Due to the extremely high risk of liner hanging, each time before the operation, the leader of Party A would personally test the engineer, asking various questions, and requiring the completion engineer to make detailed clarification and emergency plans as soon as possible.  Only then, would he approve the operation.  The ZPEC Liner Hanging Operation Team overcame all of the difficulties and finished the operation successfully.
