In autumn, the melons and fruits are fragrant in the North Wenbei Oil Region of Aksu, Xinjiang Province and large paddy fields are waiting for a bumper harvest with golden light.

ZPEC Group Chairman Mr. Li Chundi spent September 22^nd and 23^rd at the Xinjiang ZPEC Aksu Oilfield to inspect and guide the work. He visited the government agencies, oil production stations, drilling crews, and integrated logistics support bases and cordially expressed his greetings and holiday blessings to the cadres and employees who were sticking to their posts during the two festivals, Middle Autumn Festival and National Holidays. He encouraged all to bravely take the mission of serving the country with energy and to make new contributions to the development and construction of the ZPEC Aksu Oilfield.

On the morning of September 23^rd, Mr. Li and his team went to the Headquarters of ZPEC Aksu Oil & Gas Company and discussed the development of the Aksu Oilfield with leaders of oil and gas, drilling, oil service, equipment, and other sectors of ZPEC.

Mr. Li said, "Recently, the exploration and development work in Aksu Oilfield has been fruitful and the steadily increasing production has also opened up a new path for the development of the company. Our three-year battle in the Aksu Oilfield is a milestone event for ZPEC. On behalf of ZPEC and myself, I hereby express the sincere gratitude to all the staff and leading cadres who are fighting on the front line in the ZPEC Wensu Oilfield. Thanks for all of your hard work."

At the symposium held on the same day, Mr. Li made arrangements and deployments for the key tasks of the ZPEC Aksu Oilfield. He emphasized that, first, oilfield development must focus on long-term development, scientifically deploying wells, and rationally exploiting the oilfield. He said that ZPEC does not engage in short-term behavior and that ZPEC needed to be considering the long-term development of 30 to 50 years as it was necessary to make great efforts in oil production technology and geological research, and to plan carefully in oilfield management while taking cost reduction and efficiency improvement as an eternal topic. Secondly, he stated that the construction of ground projects should accelerate the pace further. At present, the resource base of 500,000 tons in the Wensu Block is already available and that ZPEC must do everything possible to speed up the implementation of the progress of the joint station and the transfer station.  Thirdly, natural gas development must have short-term measures and long-term perspectives. Pipeline network and pipeline planning must be planned and implemented in advance.  Fourth, rules and regulations must be straightened out, team building must be enriched, oil production technology research capabilities and reservoir geological research must be strengthened.  Fifth, ZPEC must realize the appropriate intelligence and automation of the oil production area as soon as possible and continuously improve the efficiency of oil extraction. Sixth, the company must stre

ngthen the logistics support work and the management of procurement materials must be standardized. In addition to the existing business, the equipment manufacturing sector must also be upgraded and transformed to ensure the development and construction of the oil field.  Seventh, it was essential to make good use of local preferential policies to further increase the local industrial layout. Eighth and last, ZPEC must attach importance to safe production and rely on the strength of the team and the system to do a good job in the safety of the Aksu Oilfield.

After the symposium, Mr. Li, accompanied by Mr. Yao Guicheng, ZPEC Senior Vice President, Mr. Shi Shuyi, ZPEC Vice President and General Manager of ZPEC Drilling Company, Mr. Lu Xinzhou, ZPEC Vice President and General Manager of ZPEC Oil Service Company, Mr. Li Xuesong, ZPEC (Aksu) Oil and Gas Company, Mr. Li Jing, General Manager of ZPEC Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Group Company, and other leaders visited the key ZPEC oil production platforms, drilling well sites, and logistics support bases to send his holiday greetings and blessings. (Mr. Hao Donglei)
