In the afternoon of March 24, 2021, Beijing Time, the signing ceremony for the first batch of regional college and enterprise cooperation in Aksu, Xinjiang, was held at Aksu Vocational and Technical College. As the first batch of school-enterprise cooperation company, ZPEC (Aksu) Oil & Gas Company was selected as "School-Enterprise Cooperation Practice Training Base ".

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Bin Fang, The Deputy General Manager of ZPEC (Aksu) Oil &Gas Company, took the lead and addressed his speech on behalf of ZPEC, saying that cooperation between schools and enterprises could give full play for each other’s advantages, could not only train more high-quality and highly skilled talents for society and enterprises, but also help enterprises to attract and hire more outstanding graduates. In the next step, ZPEC (Aksu) Oil & Gas Company and Aksu Vocational and Technical College will take the form of "Order Class" to carry out deeper cooperation. At the same time, it is proposed to set up "Order Class" special scholarships and grants for petroleum engineering majors to encourage outstanding students to join the petroleum industry. Based upon ZPEC’s next 3 years’ development plans, ZPEC is about to accept around 800 local skilled graduates.

With the speed up of exploration and development of oil and gas, over the past two years, ZPEC (Aksu) Oil & Gas Company has received 78 interns from Aksu Vocational and Technical College, and signed labor contracts with 59 graduates. This has greatly contributed to promoting local employment and economic development.

The School-Enterprise Cooperation ceremony attracted great attention of regional departments and bureaus. The Deputy Secretary of the Aksu Prefectural Committee, the Secretary of the Aksu Education Work Committee, the Secretary and Commander of the Party Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Xinjiang Aid Command, etc., a total of seven high level regional departments and bureaus attended the ceremony.
