On March 15, 2021, ZPEC, ZPEC Equipment Group and Zhongman Drilling Company were  certified sas high-tech enterprises by Shanghai goverment , which is valid for three years. This  is a high recognition of ZPEC technological innovation, rapid growth of R&D and development prospects. It will bring new opportunities for ZPEC and its subsidiaries’ development.

The recognition of high-tech enterprises is a special qualification set up by the state to support and encourage the development of high-tech enterprises, adjust the industrial structure and enhance the national economic competitiveness. It involves the comprehensive evaluation and identification of the company's core independent intellectual property rights, the ability to transform scientific and technological achievements, the level of organization and management of R&D, the growth index and the talent structure, etc.. The recognition research and selection process is rigorous.

The recognition is jointly organized by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, the Shanghai Finance Bureau and the State Administration of Taxation Shanghai Taxation Bureau. ZPEC Drilling Company was the first time to be recognized as "Shanghai Hi-tech Enterprise", ZPEC and ZPEC Equipment Group were for re-reconginition. It was not easy for all three companies passed successfully at the same time, which means these them could get more technical and policy support from goverment, and will further stimulate ZPEC and its subusidiaries to attach importance to technological innovation, management innovation, service innovation. With high-tech standard and scientific management, the companies will developmemt more high-tech products, improve the ability of risk resistance and enhance their core competitiveness.
