On January 20th, the signing ceremony for the construction of a new oil and gas industry ecological function zone by Chengdu Xindu District Government, Deyang Guanghan City Government, and Southwest Petroleum University was held in the High-tech Zone of Deyang City, Sichuan Province. ZPEC Kunlun Co., Ltd. was invited to participate as a leading petroleum equipment enterprise in the Xindu District.  A special speech was delivered on behalf of Chengdu enterprises at the conference, expressing that they would cherish the opportunity and contribute to building a better oil and gas industry ecological zone.

ZPEC company representative Lili Zhang introduced the development of ZPEC’s three major business sectors: oil and gas exploration and development, drilling engineering services, and petroleum equipment manufacturing.  The exploration and development of the Wensu and Tenge Blocks, overseas drilling engineering performance, petroleum equipment production, manufacturing, and the export situation were introduced in detail. As the first domestic private enterprise to be approved for oil and gas reserves, ZPEC’s achievements in accelerating the upstream industry layout and reversing the trend of development were affirmed by the guests at the meeting.  The Southwest Petroleum University, Xindu District, Guanghan will cooperate to improve the oil and gas industry chain and build an oil and gas ecosystem together, which is a good thing for all three parties. ZPEC will actively participate and make good use of this good development opportunity.  The company will cooperate with scientific research institutes and local governments to strengthen the oil and gas industry and to contribute to local economic development.

The signing of this cooperation agreement is for the two governments to jointly cultivate the development of oil and gas companies and to expand and strengthen the oil and gas industry in Sichuan Province. At the meeting, Jun Xu, Deputy Mayor of Guanghan City, suggested building a shared platform for the government and enterprises as soon as possible to further promote the development of the oil industry chain and innovation chain.  Yin Peng, Deputy Head of the Xindu District Government, encouraged companies in Xindu and Guanghan to form alliances, cooperate closely, and make the oil and gas industry bigger and stronger.  Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Southwest Petroleum University, Xiaobing Wu, encouraged the government and enterprises to seize the opportunities of national oil and gas reforms to further open up to private enterprises to realize the rapid development of enterprises and oil and gas industry functional zones.
