June 18, 2018 is destined to be an unusual day. On this day, the ZPEC Hoist Team from ZPEC’s Shell Project received a letter of commendation from Shell, one of the world's largest oil companies. The content is as follows:

We take this opportunity to express our appreciation and honest thanksfor the impressive work your Rig 18 and Copmpletion Teams (Pumping / Filtration/ TCP / Wireline / Completion Tool / TRS / Slick Line / Wellhead / WellProgramming & Operation Supervising) have done in the past twelvemonths.  The ZPEC Hoist Team has met expectations of the company byshowing professional performance, executing activities with proved expertise,and consistently improving HSE performance throughout the whole operation. 

It is hard to imagine how difficult it is to earn the trust of such a famous international company.  As we all know, Shell has always been known for its high standards and strict requirements and is particularly harsh on safety requirements.  During the inspection of the workover rig, up to 1,100 acceptance items (GRST) are required to be passed one by one and closed.  With regard to the qualifications of on-site personnel, Shell's requirements are also very strict.  The content required the training matrix to be completed by all field personnel.  Before the start of work, the key positions (completion director, completion supervisor, platform manager, etc.) all accepted the Shell Director's interview, each lasting more than one hour.

The pursuit of customer satisfaction and the safe and efficient services have always been the objectives of Zhongman Shell Project's Hoist Team. This Hoist Team possesses a high level of skills and is not afraid of difficulties, having seen their efforts provide good returns time and time again!  On June 13th, the team received a commendation e-mail from Shell.  The two wells, MJ-58 and MJ-60, which were the earliest wells to be completed and put into production, produced more than 9,000 barrels per day and 11,000 barrels per day, respectively. This is by far the highest output of the entire Majnoon Oilfield in the Mishrif Reservoir! This is very exciting news!

Shell's commendation e-mails and letters affirmed the work of ZPEC’s Hoist Team, as Shell compared the service level of the team to that of the four major international oil servicecompanies.They noted, at the same time, that Zhongman's corporate culture and QHSE management system had been fully integrated with world-class oil companies.  On the other hand, such recognition serves to encourage the ZPEC team.  However, as we state, “Honor only belongs to yesterday, ZPEC still needs to work hard for tomorrow!”
