Recently the Ministry of Finance, State Taxation Administration announced the list of 2009 Shanghai High-Tech Enterprises.  With the excellent performance in the application and the creation of high technologies, ZPEC Drilling was awarded this honor, which is a three-year designation.
 
According to requirements of "Measures on the Designation of High and New Technology Enterprises" and "Guide on the Designation of High and New Technology Enterprises" set by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, State Taxation Administration, after the strict evaluation by the official inspection experts, ZPEC Drilling and other 13 enterprises were awarded "2009 Shanghai High-Tech Enterprises".

ZPEC Drilling is a comprehensive, experienced, and reputable drilling company which was established in 1994.  As a subsidiary of ZPEC, the company now owns and operates 18 crews for its oil and gas drilling and exploration and petroleum geological logging operations. With its established principle of staying focused on operational applications and on the innovation of new technologies, ZPEC Drilling has obtained 31 drilling patents and has established many new drilling records in the Shanbei area.  At present, the annual drilling footage capacity is up to 600,000 meters and the actual footage in 2009 is up to almost 450,000 meters.
