ZPEC Drilling Restarts Operations after Spring Festival

Compared with last year, the owner proposed higher requirements on the operating equipment, living facilities, and management level.  This caused additional adjustments and somewhat more difficulties for start-up this year.  By rating the contracting drilling rigs/crews as grade A, B, C to control and manage, the work of the various departments is now performed more precisely and in a more orderly way.
After a short break in the winter season, the staff of ZPEC Drilling arrived back to work.  Each crew spared no effort in preparing for the post-Spring Festival operation, in trying to make a good start.
In order to start operations as soon as possible, each crew chief of every project returned first to get to know the new trends of each owner and to perform the market research with the goal of preserving the existing market while exploring new ones in order to ensure an adequate work load for each rig for the upcoming work season.  Once this occurred, all the department personnel came back to post in time to organize and to prepare for the work load.  All departments, i.e. equipment, material supply, engineering, etc., actively aligned their equipment and materials to the upcoming workload; the logistics team started supplying the camps, pipe rack, water tank and other materials and facilities; the executive department took the lead to deal with the affairs related to qualification examination and to meet the site inspection and spud acceptance by the owner.
