On February 9, 2013, ZPEC No. 23 Team successfully finished WQ2-224 well, the 4th well in Iraq. WQ2-224 proved to be the most difficult well drilled by ZPEC Iraqi project, taking 52 days to finish.  The well depth is 3,898 meters with a 2,528 meter horizontal displacement and a 70.04 degree maximum well deviation.
With its fine arrangements and great efforts, ZPEC No. 23Team successfully finished on the eve of Spring Festival, the biggest festival for China.  In handing the completion over to the client, the satisfaction symbolized a Spring Festival gift presented to ZPEC.
